On this page, I offer some of the books, articles and other resources that I have found to be of use on my personal development journey.
First I will mention my own book, which I wrote because my work blends elements from dialogue practice, mindfulness, meditation, and embodied work. When my clients asked: ‘what can I read?’ I had to suggest several different books, each addressing a different aspect of the work we were engaged in. Now I can offer ‘Pause for Breath’, which explores mind, body and spirit in leadership conversations. At the end of each section of the book there is a resource list.
My aim is always to encourage people to read widely, and to make their own sense of practices that are beyond accurate ‘articulation’. In the end, your own experience, your own sense-making, is what will take you forward. Be curious, develop your awareness, and have fun!
